Eve and then Friday, Christmas itself. One of the most anticipated days in
the year is just around the corner.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>What will you do to celebrate? Will you set aside some
time tonight to reflect? Read the birth accounts of Christ in Matthew
and/or Luke? Sing Happy Birthday to Jesus around a cake? We used to
do that each year as our kids grew up. Whatever you do, do something
focused in the miracle of Christ’s birth in the next couple of days if
you really want to cheer up this Christmas. After all, it is His
birthday.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>One great way to celebrate is to be at Lakeshore on Thursday
at one of our Christmas Eve services (4pm or 7pm). Just being with others
on Christmas Eve takes my breath away. In all honesty, these services are
not some incredible spectacle or super-technical extravaganza. Over the
years we have found that simple is better because that’s how Christmas
really was for Jesus, Mary and Joseph.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

people will attend church on Christmas Eve if you just invite them and offer to
